Incident Description:

If your site is hosted on web318, and you want to add an ftp user or change a password for an existing ftp user, you’ll probably get an error message that says “Internal Error, Tech Support Was Notified”. Don’t be scared! Upon a regular security audit, I found a possible problem, something with the same likelihood, in layman’s terms, of “If the Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Mars are positioned in such way they form a perfect square, it is theoretically possible that a kid with a magnifier glass on the 7th planet of the 7th sun in Alpha Centauri could possibly kill all blonde females on Earth if he would say the secret spell of Zuma and point the glass towards the third moon of his planet at exactly 2pm”.

However, I don’t like the chances of that happening, so I am implementing a fix. It will probably be 2-3 hours until I’m done, but I need to disable password changing meanwhile.

Update @5.00pm: Hello everybody. Password changes and user/subuser additions are working now. I have also contacted the child in Alpha Centauri and I made sure he cannot kill our blondes anymore.
