Step 2 of the CP9 Migration is ready to start (we told you the SysAdmins wouldn’t be sleeping until this is over). We are finishing the last online syncs of Mail901 through Mail920 and MySql901 through MySql920. After these complete–one at a time–they will be cut over to the new hardware. Downtime will be less [...]
Mail502 will be going offline so that we can move the contents of this server. The contents are being moved to another server with a newer, better performing raid card. We are taking another step toward the CP9 migration tonight, at Midnight EDT, by conducting a database optimization on the current infrastructure. This is a necessary preparation step for the move. Mail501 and Mail502 have hard drive failures that need to be immediately addressed. Any postponement of this work would be detrimental to data integrity. The hard drives are part of RAID arrays that prevent any data loss, however the servers will experience slowness as the arrays are rebuilt with the new drives. Lisa Grice Director [...]
This needed to be done to improve the performance of the server. We notice there was some slowness in the server so we took care of the problem with this upgrade. We are expecting once the machine is brought back online there will be a file system check to make sure everything is ok.
Web411 is being moved to new hardware for better performance, we apologize for the downtime while this necessary maintenance occurs.
We are currently experiencing issues with our internal help desk and live chat services. We expect the live chat service to be back up in the next hour with some reduced functionality with the service being completely restored by midnight tonight. Our phone representatives will be happy to assist you with any questions or issues [...]
