Dave says:

Certainly you MUST have a copy of our latest bak file so we can move our database to a functioning server. At the rate you are progressing we will be without our data for a month — which will result in my personal financial ruin.

Somebody has to have a better answer than “we will let you know when it’s resolved.” This is absurd.

IX: Jared says:

Hello Dave,

We should have a backup of the database, backups are kept on another server. It certainly has taken a while, as is expected in these situations. However, it is almost complete(91%). If you do wish to move your database, feel free to contact us by ticket, chat, or phone and we will help you out with that process.

Also, with these issues, it can be very tough to give an accurate ETA, so we give you constant updates throughout the process. I do apologize for all of your inconvenience.

Dave says:

As it has only gone from 80% to 91% in 3 days, “almost complete” is a bit misleading. Also, I specifically asked for a backup file in a chat a couple of days ago, and was told that this was impossible.

I do need to move the database because performance for several weeks has been crippling slow. I will try chat once more and reference this conversation.

I would like to take a moment to apologize to everyone who may have misconstrued an earlier comment. I have since removed the comment, however to be clear, we are currently unable to switch customers off of MSSQL507.

It now shows rebuild is 100% complete. Do we have an ETA on when things will be back to normal?
