Shared Hosting Maintenance Scheduled Feb 25 – CP12, CP13, and CP14

On February 25th, from 12:01am to 4:00am EST (UTC-05), we will be doing brief maintenance on the systems where your websites reside. Your websites and access to managing these sites will be unreachable during this period.

As with any high-performance equipment, it’s necessary to go in and do upgrades and preventive maintenance work on a regular basis. We always try to pick the slowest activity times so it causes the least interruption to you. You will not need to do anything before or after this maintenance period–although we encourage you (as always) to create backups of your sites regularly. If you’re not sure how to do that, contact us any time.

Mail 1201 Maintenance – Resolved

Our systems administration department has detected an issue with mail server 1201. At this point we will be taking it offline in order to perform maintenance.

iis1009 – Maintenance – Resolved

Our system administrators detected an issue with iis1009. The server had to be restarted and is now doing a mandatory filesystem check (FSCK). During this time the web server will be unavailable, meaning that websites hosted on the server will be unavailable as well.

iis307 FTP unavailable – Resolved

Windows Server iis307 is currently under recreation due to a failed raid drive. During this time websites should still be up, but FTP may be unavailable. We are expecting this recreation to take 1 – 2 days.

iis413 – Maintenance – Resolved

iis413 has been having some technical issues. We’re currently running a File System Check and anticipate the server will be up shortly.

Mail56 – Maintenance – Completed

Global Mail Maintenance – Resolved

We experienced some abnormal performance from this server earlier today and have begun to run a file scan check. We do not yet have an estimated time of resolution, but will keep status blogs updated as we learn more.

During routine maintenance, the mail908 server required a file system check. The server is currently scanning file system integrity and will experience some connectivity issues during this time.

Our system administrators encountered an issue with one of the drives on this server and are in the process of rebuilding the raid for this server.

Shared Hosting Win01 Cluster Maintenance Dec. 3rd 12:00AM EST – Completed

This will be a scheduled outage of 4 hours while we update SAN firmware. This update will assist us in avoiding premature drive failures. We will divert traffic on this SAN to our maintenance page. This maintenance will affect server performance for customers on the following servers:

IISN201 – 206, 301 -311, 401 – 413, 1018
IIS 1015, 1016, 1017, 1019
MSSQL 1005

We are expecting this maintenance to last 4 hours. Estimated completion Dec. 3rd 4:00AM EST. We do have a contingency plan in place in the event of firmware upgrade failure.
